CHELSEA FC AND QUEENS PARK RANGERS FC December 2022 - January 2023
Ibrom had the opportunity to visit Chelsea FC to see academy teams in action and to spend time with old industry colleagues. Alongside this visiting Queens Park Rangers FC as guest of Academy Manager Alex Carroll.

Ibrom has kept current, modern and up dated with the changing plateau in elite player and coach development visiting over 50 professional football clubs and national teams in over ten countries including Chelsea, Celtic, New York City, Manchester City, San Jose Earthquakes, Tottenham Hotspur, Budapest Honved, Ferencvárosi TC, Real Salt Lake, Newcastle Jets, Sheffield United, Melbourne City, Newcastle United, Barcelona, Torino, Juventus, West Ham United, Norwich City, Ipswich Town, New Zealand National Teams, Switzerland U21's, Singapore National Team, Hong Kong National Teams, Pachuca FC and the Mexico U17 National Team.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Observed all Chelsea FC academy teams up to first team. • Observed Hong Kong national teams in training.
• European Tour’s to Barcelona FC, Torino FC, Juventus FC and Espanyol.
• Attended Pre-match briefing as guest of Chelsea FC U21’s. • UK Tour to Liverpool FC. • New Zealand national teams men and women training camps in 2018.

European Study Visit
SIX PROFESSIONAL CLUBS IN FIVE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES June 2019 - July 2019
Ibrom spent five weeks in the UK, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium enhancing his individual continuous professional development. Ibrom was invited by Budapest Honved, Ferencvárosi, FIFA in Zurich, DoublePass in Belgium, Barnsley FC, Sheffield United FC, Norwich City FC and Ipswich Town FC to observe the inner workings of their elite environments.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Observed Ipswich Town FC first team in pre season training.
• Observed Sheffield United FC first team in a pre match day preparation session.
• Observed Ferencvárosi FC first team in pre season training. • Observed Budapest Honved first team in pre season training. • Took part in a tour of the FIFA Headquarters.

MEXICO STUDY VISIT
PACHUCA CLUB DE FUTBOL & MEXICAN U17 NATIONAL TEAM
Sept 2018 – Oct 2018
Ibrom was invited to spend 6 weeks on a professional development trip with Pachuca Club de Futbol in the Mexican Liga MX. Ibrom was able to observe all academy teams from 2007's age category up to first team on a daily basis at the clubs training complex in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. Alongside this observing the Mexican U17 National Team in International Fixtures against the USA, Chile and Argentina at the National Training Centre in Mexico City as well as tactical training.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Observed daily first team training sessions under the guidance of first team Head Coach Pako Ayestarán (previously assistant manager at Liverpool FC). • Personally invited into first team changing room by the Sporting Director prior to Liga MX quarter final tie versus Tigres UNAL FC.
• Observed daily all academy teams up to first team both male and female.
• Observed fixtures from the academy up to first team against other Liga MX teams.
• Asked by club to present to all academy staff up to Sporting Director on my study visit whilst at the club.

Ibrom has visited Chelsea FC on a number of occasions including formal and non-formal study visits as well as chaperoning players on professional trials with the club.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Observed all academy teams U8’s - U16’s in training.
• Observed U21’s in tactical training prior to fixture versus Fulham U21’s
• Attendee at Pre-Match briefing for Chelsea FC U21’s
• Full tour of first team training complex.
